News:AppleInsider | News and rumors since 1997

AppleInsider | News and rumors since 1997 - Apple has pulled British music retailer HMV's app from the iOS App Store because of functionality that allowed users to buy songs for download.

One day, when you wake up and realize that .m4a files are mere crapworks of uncompressed 48kHz master tapes, you will thank god for the compact disc, delivering vastly superior sound since the 80s. All in a package that melts on the dash of your car on a hot day!

Breaking Bad Helps BadFinger Sell More Than 5,300 Copies of Baby Blue - Peter Kafka - Media - AllThingsD - more than 10 million people listened to “Baby Blue,” Badfinger’s 1971 hit. And, as reports suggested earlier this week, a bunch of people bought the song that very night. Nielsen SoundScan said that more than 5,300 digital copies of the song were purchased Sunday night.

How would Nielsen know how many copies were sold on iTunes?
